Supplement Review
The estrogen
inhibitors

This is a Review of
Estrogen Inhibitors used by bodybuilders, and other
athletes today. Unlike other reviews there is no rehashing of the
supplement’s company’s marketing presentation. It is not a popularity
contest, where products are voted on. It’s a synergy of ingredients and
anecdotal observations, and the results have no relationship with who will
benefits. basically I do not care which supplement company benefits from
this review!
| Every one
of the product in this review claims to be a
testosterone boosters, I
guess in a round about way they are, but I
group them together as estrogen inhibitors. The main reason for this is that
these products have as the main ingredient an
anti-aromatase.
An
aromatase
is an enzyme that converts androgens (testosterone) into estrogens. An anti-aromatase
is a substance that hinders this conversion, hence the reason for
categorizing these products as estrogen inhibitors.
There are
a number of different substance that act as anti-aromatase or aromatase
inhibitors. In the drug world the aromatase inhibitors include anastrazole (Arimidex),
exemestane (Aromasin),
and
letrozole (Femara)
they are most often used by women for menopause related issues and to
prevent breast cancer..
This review is not about the drug version but the
natural aromatase inhibitors like the
isoflavone
chrysin,
6oxo,
formestane, the purpose of these are to maintain and sometime get bigger
muscles for the user. In any event all anti-aromastase hinder the conversion
of androgen to estrogens.

History
of the Estrogen Inhibitors
For years
professional athletes have been taking performance enhancing drugs or
supplements to get bigger, faster, and stronger. These drugs or supplements work
by either artificially increasing the amount of testosterone in the body or by
forcing the body to produce more testosterone. There are other methods that are
used to enhance performance, increasing testosterone is not the only pathway by
which this can be done, but this site is not where you will learn it.
Because
these drugs supplements cause a lot of stress on the liver, kidneys, and sexual
organs many athletes took anti-aromatase dugs to bring the body back to a more
normal level. Many performance enhancing drugs had side effect that included but
not limited to liver problems, kidney problems, body acne, high blood pressure,
impotence, and
gynecomastia. Some of
these side effects like impotence, and gynecomastia are the direct result of the
conversion of androgen to estrogens.
for some
people steroids side effect and the legalities were more than they wanted to
give up for 22" biceps so a legal ( at the time) alterative pro-hormones
was used. Pro-hormones are precursor for many of the steroids, are they
steroids ? some are pretty darn close but at the time they were at least legal.
Supplement
companies in the creation of pro-hormones learned to get around the the legal
issues with pro-hormones and in no time many athletes using them were seeing
steroid-like results. After Mark McGuire and Sammy Sosa got into a homerun
battle the world now knew that even pro-hormones where performance enhancing
supplements.
With
everyone buying pro-hormone from baseball players to high school track
competitor there became a real need for a supplement to repair some of the
damage to the body that these testosterone boosters were causing.
this was the reason estrogen inhibitors were created.
When the
government banned the use of pro-hormones the manufacture of these products went
right to their labs and began creating a more legal version of the product that
made them successful. But while there were no pro-hormone
around many people realized that they were getting amazing increases in strength
and drops in body fat while taking these estrogen inhibitors ( estrogen
inhibitors do not fit the government’s requirement of a testosterone enhancing
drug so where not banned). People found that they could get pro-hormone like
result from a perfectly legal product.
Note many of the natural bodybuilding
organization do not allow the use of estrogen inhibitors as acceptable
supplements for their competitors.
Gaspari
Nutrition’s Novedex XT
The first
product in this review is Gaspari Nutrition’s Novedex XT. Unlike many estrogen
inhibitors whose main ingredient is formestane which according to Gaspari
Nutrition can convert back into estrogen. Novedex XT is supposed to not contain
any anti-aromatase that can convert back into estrogen, thus it  should
be better and result should be faster. I use to use this product religiously and
I have to say that I loved it.
If your
goal is to get your body into that hard condition, or if you are trying to save
some of the muscle you gain from a prohormone of other substance cycle, Novedex
XT is the solution to your problem. This product just flat out works!
I
rate this product a 9 out of 10 in quality.
ErgoPharm’s 6-OXO
Ergopharms
was the first to come up with 1-AD and this product took them into the
stratosphere of success. They capped off that success with the release of 6-OXO
this was the first estrogen inhibitor ever. Even though they advertised it as a
testosterone stimulator not an estrogen inhibitor or anti-aromastase this
product has always been an estrogen inhibitor.
Today
they push 6-OXO as a testosterone booster which of course is not what it does at
all. What this product does is give great results; I personally did not see any
results with this product, which could have been as much my fault as it was the
product. However, if imitation is the greatest complement, then everyone in the
supplement business has been paying homage to Ergopharm with their version of
this product.
I just
can’t stress enough how wonderful a response I get from veteran bodybuilders and
neophytes alike on the results of this product. 6oxo has opened the door to
success almost any supplement company that wants to copy the receipt for
success.
I rate this product
an 8 out of 10 in quality.
Legal Gear
Formadrol Extreme
Formadrol
combines two anti-estrogen ingredients into one product; first it uses a suicide
inhibitor which stops the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. Secondly
Formadrol has an ingredient diadzin which prevents the binding of estrogen to
your receptors.
I have
not used this product as a mass builder but his product like all estrogen
inhibitors should allow you to slowly put on size while you get extremely hard.

this product and 7 out of 10
Designer
Supplements Rebound XT
Someone
told me that this Rebound XT was as good as Novadex XT. Novedex XT is one of my
favorite products, so you know I had to try this stuff. I went to the supplement
store and get some, but unfortunately when I go there it was all gone.
I went
online and downloaded some literature on this product; you know the technical
stuff, and got so excited that I had to have if for myself. I paid close to $45
for the stuff including shipping then later realized that I could have saved
almost $14
I’m
pretty excited about this rebound XT and can’t wait to use. It but it will be
about 18 weeks before I can try it though because I’m presently using Novedex
XT.

but I will say that it seems to be a sleeper!
