So whether you eat or
drink
or whatever you do,
do it all for the glory of God
With the coming of Thanksgiving and other food related holidays
it is extremely difficult to stay in shape in the winter. Most of us spend the
second half of spring trying to get our weight down for the summer. Heck no one
wants to look bad in his or her bathing suit next summer. So with that in mind
here are some tips to help you get through the over indulgence that we often
partake of every year.

1. Don’t
drink alcohol; alcohol breaks down our ability to resist temptations and we can
develop a “I don’t care attitude”
2. 2.
Get only enough to stop being hungry, I know it is normal to stuff your self
during thanksgiving, but remember its the turkey that should be stuffed not you.
3. Stay
on a structured workout and diet program and let the holidays be noting more
than a planned off day for your diet. By staying on a diet you make sure that
you stay mindful of what you eat.
4. Do
aerobics, ride your bike, jog, or dance, something for no less than 30 minutes a
day 5 days a week.
5. Increase
fiber, I would start the day with a high fiber cereal (10 grams or more) and soy
or other milk substitute
6. Keep your
protein intake at 1 gram per pound. Instead of a soft
drink take in a
micellar casein protein with your meal or just before you start to eat.
Casein protein is slow to inter your system and once there it turn to a gel thus
keeping you feeling full longer than a whey protein would.
7. Lift
weights; most people understand the need for aerobic but few understand that big
health muscle burn fat faster, even if you do not have a goal of being big and
bulky you should do restive training a few time per week to help you burn fat
faster.
8. If
you find that you just can not resist the desire to snack or taste grandma' new
pecan pie then you may want to consider appetite suppressants.
Hoodia is widely recognized as one of the most
effective appetite suppressants in the world and its chemical free.
Of course we all gain a little weight in the
winter, but the secret to looking good the following summer is keeping
everything in moderations.
God Bless you
