NABBA
AMERICAN BODYBUILDING CHAMPIONSHIPS
(The Nationals)
September 9th 2006
If you ever want
controversy in bodybuilding just bring up women physiques, and you will get
everyone’s opinion, even if you didn’t ask for it. Some prefer small women
almost model like bodies, some prefer the more muscular but still pretty
physiques, and of course like me, some prefer the hardcore in your face muscle.
The issue of which type of body was best took a back seat
to the controversy at hand, which was how in the world did Isabella Luvana #42
come in 3rd place?
Women
( Ms Physique)
I personally felt the odds were against Isabella all night. From the very
beginning she was not even announced by her correct name. I don't know who
Monica Griffin is but she wasn't the Jr National winner
as the announcer said,
that honor went to the women runner up
Lydia Amaro. I know I was there!
Here is my argument 3 different
physiques and all could have won.
Michelle Brent
looked great; this Philadelphia resident did the home boys good in her showing
at the contest. I had some issues with placement of her tattoo, and thought she
was a little heavy around the waist, but she admitted to being a few weeks off
from her best.

Last Month's Jr. National Over All Champion
Saiid Kamara never seems to be noticed until he called for the first place
trophy. Maybe the most recognized contestant in the show, I was totally amazed
at how many of the other contestant attributed their success to him.

Nothing is
as unsightly running
tan, the longer you stand on stage the more streaks run down your back and
chest Get it right the next time with proper tanning products.
They enhance
your muscular appearance, without causing blind spots like baby oil. The are
formulated just for hot light so you don't sweat as much. Make the
competition too embarrassed to leave the pump up room .
