is lifted off floor to approximately waist height. Lifter must stand erect,
shoulders back.
Definition:
Extremely low body fat coupled with superior muscle separation and vascularity
Deficiency
:A
sub optimal level of either one or more nutrients, often resulting in poor
health.
Dehydration: Excessive fluid loss
from the body, normally from perspiration, urination, evaporation or being sick.
Delts: Abbreviation for deltoids,

A condition that is often felt after exercise, especially weight orientated, or
excessive running. Caused by the micro tears within your muscles as part of the
body rebuilding phase. Will generally last 24 / 72 hours, with feelings felt
normally the day after exercise.
Double (Split Training) Routine:
Working out twice a day to allow for shorter, more intense workouts. Usually
performed by more advanced bodybuilders preparing for a contest.
Drying Out : Encouraging loss of
body fluids by limiting fluid intake, eliminating salt, sweating heavily and/or
using diuretics.
Dumbbell:
Weight used for exercising consisting of rigid handles about 14” long with
either detachable metal discs or fixed weights at each end.
Dumbell Curl:
a bicep exercise that is done with a single arm
Drop-Sets:
A form of superset set where a moderate weight is used until your muscles reach

ECA Stack: A thermogenic ( fat
burning) combination of drugs used for weight loss and energy. made up of
Ephedrine, Caffeine, and
Aspirin, this potential hazardous
combination has been used for years
Ectomorph: A thumbnail
description of the somatotype as a Body Type Characterized by a light build and
slight muscular development
Ephedrine: drug used to
relieve the symptoms of asthma by dilatation of bronchial passages. Before the
government illegal ban it was the main ingredient in most fat burners
Essential amino acids:the
nine a-amino acids required for protein synthesis that cannot be synthesized by
humans and must be obtained in the diet: histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine,
methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, tryptophan, and valine.
Estrogens:
are a group of steroid compounds that function as the primary female sex hormone
EXERCISE: conscious movements
that are done with the intent of building muscle developing cardio health,
promoting better overall health or preparation for sport related competition
EZ-CURL: a curl bar made
for the purpose of removing strain from the wrist when doing bicep or triceps
movements see cambered bar
or curl bar

Acids: Called essential because our bodies cant
produce it themselves. Basically these two fatty acids (include linoleic and
linolenic acid) can quickly turn into fireworks

Fascia: Fibrous connective tissue
that covers, supports and separates all muscles and muscle groups. It also
unites skin with underlying tissue.
Fast-Twitch
Muscle Fibers: Those
muscle fibers that fire at a faster rate thereby contracting the muscles more
forcefully, this is the type of muscles used by bodybuilders, power lifters
weightlifter and sprinters.
Fat:
an energy source that is consumed as food which is can come from either fruit,
vegetable of animal sources
Failure:
Doing a set until you can't do any more reps on your own I think its important
to note that if your workout partner has to do more than about 5 % of the work
you have gone past failure and are on the road to injury ( was that my opinion)
Fibrin: The substance that in
combination with blood cells forms a blood clot.
Flex: Bend or decrease angle of a
joint; contract a muscle.
Flexibility: (ROM) Range of
movement in a joint or group of joints.

extending, as in leg flexion's.
Flush: Cleanse a muscle by
increasing the blood supply to it, removing toxins left in muscle by exertion.

perform additional repetitions of an exercise when muscles can no longer
complete movement on their own.
Formestane: A natural
products that is supposed to act as a suicide estrogen inhibitor. this product
has been under some debate as to weather is actually works.

levels. It also stimulate the Adrenal cortex initiating body's own production of
androgens, thus making you stronger, bigger, and enhancing your sex drive
Free-Form
Amino Acids:
Structurally unlinked individual amino acids
Free Radicals:
unstable molecules that are missing a paired electron. They attack normal
healthy molecules by stealing the electron from it causing that molecule to
become a free radical. Free radicals are formed by the immune system to fight of
viruses and bacteria, but the outside environment like cigarette smoke,
pollution, herbicides and exercise can also cause the body to produce free
radicals.
