Joe Patton last years winner, and a
personal friend was there handing out trophies and representing 12th
street gym which won the best represented Gym in the competition. Joe has an
amazingly symmetrical physique with thick full pecs and granite like
conditioning, so as you guess when I heard that Joe was preparing some of
the guy for the show I was very interested in the outcomes.
Judge Gary Masington was also the Guest
Poser. Gary is truly a good person, nothing fake about him, the first day I
met him I knew he was real. Gary really loves bodybuilding and is a great
ambassador for the sport, soft spoken, confident and loaded with muscle,
just what you want from a bodybuilder. In his posing routine Gary was girded
in gladiator's gear and neck band his Herculean body matched beautifully
with the costume he wore and made you think of Samson pushing down the
temple pillars as he crushed and destroyed his enemy.

The overall men's open winner was Kevin Kreider but not after engaging in a
hotly contested battle with lightweight men winner TJ Weldon. This was a close
battle and I heard argument for either being the winner.
On the ladies side there was
Sarah Jackson
who surprisingly competed in the women's open figure and the women's master
bodybuilding. However it really did not matter where she competed she was going
to win! Sarah came to battle with sleek lines and full muscle bellies, not
overly muscled, but carrying enough to know that she spend times in the gym
doing real work

Overall this was a very well run show, and Promoter Warren Egebo did an
excellent job of putting together a staff of dedicated Judges and mediators
which allowed for a smooth well run show
