Teen Winner Kyle Jackson made scary improvement
over the last year. Not that he was so much bigger but had amazing balance and
shape for his age. Some body needs to tell him not to come on stage with
his glasses. but even that mistake was overlooked because of his physique.
Between the morning show and the evening show
Kyle broke his elbow ( arm wrestling) and was unable to do his posing routine at
the night show, but that made no difference he was far enough ahead to win and
his mother stood in for him during trophy presentation.

The quality of the physiques at the Philly
Classic was very comparable to any other show in this area as a matter of fact
many of the contestants that competed in the Philly Classic also competed the
following Saturday in Philadelphia and all of them faired very well.
The Germantown High School Auditorium had some
problems with power and the lighting and sound was in and out but over all the
contest went smoothly a little late but that's the nature of bodybuilding shows
around here.
On stand out Physique was the novice and light
heavy weight 2nd place contestant Stephen Williamson. I was really impressed
with his balance and shape. he could have been a little harder but I know in a
year or two he will be one to reckon with!

Miava Nelson was last years winner and she came to defend her crown against
newcomer Venice " Peaches "Pierce. Even though Venice carried a lot of
muscle her lack of experience put her at a distinct disadvantage to the more
aesthetic movements and graceful lines of Miava.
